30 Days to Register in-Country

It is a requirement that all contractors working overseas personally register appropriately within 30 days of starting their contract/assignment in whichever country they are working.

Failure to do this will result in CPM being unable to add the contractor to the Payroll in that country and may result in the contractor not being paid until the in-country registration is completed.

In many countries the process is quick and easy and it can be actioned quite often very local to your work place address. Colleagues will often know the locations of registration offices which are local but wherever possible CPM will assist you.

At onset CPM strive to collect key information from new and re-joining contractors during the Registration with CPM process (our own Registration form) and we would ask all contractors to fully complete that document when they join us and perhaps keep you own copy of it which will help you to register in the country you are working.

Registration in-country personally is not to be confused with CPMs Registration process.

Those who register you will need to know basic details which will include the full postal address of your workplace and of your accommodation address locally as well as your permanent home address.

The 30 day rule has been imposed on contractors by CPM because it has been our experience that contractors will sometimes fail to complete this necessary personal task as they become busy with their contract on a day-to-day basis.  Any questions should be put to Customer Services at CPM as we really wish to assist and support contractors who will then be paid as quickly as possible.
