The Team
At CPM our team makes us what we are; it's what distinguishes us from our competitors. We know the contracting industry; because we're managed by a team of former IT industry employees, we genuinely understand your requirements too. Our team is vastly experienced in IT and administration of course; but bring so many more skills from their work in telecommunications, surveying, design, teaching and editorial services.
Solomon Williams
Solomon is a Chartered Certified Accountant with over
15 years of taxation and management experience. He is
the founder of CPM; prior to that he held senior positions
with chartered accountancy practices in London and Hertfordshire
and in finance with the marketing arm of Volkswagen
UK. He holds an MBA from Cranfield University and also
taught for several years on the MBA program at Warwick
University Business School. His specialist areas are
taxation and remuneration management for clients in
the UK and overseas. He is also in general accountancy
and taxation practice.
Philip Stirley
Phil joined CPM in January 2005 to deal mainly with the financial & statutory accounting and administration of its corporate contractors.
Phil's background following his qualification as a Chartered Management Accountant in 1994 has been as a financial controller in various manufacturing, electronics and construction companies where he dealt primarily with financial performance, profitability and acquisition issues.
Outside of the working environment, Phil enjoys the family life and is a keen helper of his son's football team and avid supporter of all sport & drinking establishments.
Jane Hand
Jane Hand has worked as a PA for over 20 years. She
has worked in legal firms as an office manager and as
a PA in industry, working at the highest levels for
Directors and CEO's. There is very little that she has
not been asked to organize; she enjoys the variety and
the sense of creating order out of chaos.
Jane organizes the day to day administrative tasks as well as marketing campaigns. She ensures everything run smoothly and efficiently in the office to allow the rest of the team to concentrate on other things.
She enjoys cooking and gardening in her spare time together with Yoga and Pilates.
Anthony Hodgson
I joined CPM in 2004 and I deal with invoicing, UK sales and marketing, contractor liaison, including expenses management & finance.
Post university, I spent two years in Australia and New Zealand, working for a sales company in Perth and back in the UK I worked for HSBC, before joining CPM
Outside work, I spend a lot of time working on our home with my fiancée. I also enjoy watching Coventry City FC and Northampton Saints RFC. I also play the odd round of golf and enjoy a spot of fishing.
Martin Creek
Martin joined CPM in November 2004 to cover the payroll
processing and accounting functions. The payroll is
processed twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Qualified by experience, Martin worked for a firm of accountants from 1987 to 1994. He has since developed wide experience of payroll and accounting systems across several industries. This has included processing large and complex payrolls to tight deadlines. He has previously served at board level, overseeing the training and supervision of staff to produce accurate accounting information promptly. His work has also included auditing and troubleshooting of accounting systems.
Outside work, Martin is an avid reader and amateur historian who enjoys the Welsh mountains.
