Contract checks and safeguards

CPM endeavour to check carefully any contract which arrives at our Administration Centre to - as far as is possible - protect the freelancer.

Those freelancers who are regular contractors will know of the huge number of variations conditions and clauses contained within contracts. During the early part of 2009 CPM have undertaken considerable care to try to monitor closely and where necessary correct certain elements of contractual engagements with an eye to:-

1. Ensure full compliance at ALL times.
2. Protect the contractor as far as possible in numerous ways - and
3. Ensure that payment is made within a reasonable period of time – this period varying from contract to contract - but CPM in all cases control, chase and monitor payment performance rigidly.         

We hope and trust that our freelancers – who are our first consideration, are pleased to know that such care is taken at the crucial pre commencement of their contract period.
