CPM Services - International Paynet
International Paynet - EU Countries
CPM offers this specialized service for the benefit of the international contractor. International Paynet is the perfect scheme for anyone working abroad for longer than 6 months. Most EU countries will allow you to work for up to 6 months without incurring local taxes. Thereafter you are required to register locally and pay your tax dues. CPM will advise you on the most tax advantageous strategy; e.g. becoming a non resident of the UK for the duration of your contract.
See CPM Reference for information on working abroad.
Health Insurance whilst working in Europe
The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) entitles you to reduced cost, sometimes free, medical treatment, that becomes necessary while you're in a European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.
There is no charge for the EHIC, it will last from 3 to 5 years and covers any medical treatment due to illness or an accident.
For more information on the EHIC from the Department of Health click here.

Other EU countries* If you are working outside the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands, please contact the UK office for assistance through our network of associates.
EU citizens* do not
require a work permit to work in the UK. All the rules
for UK contractors apply to EU contractors.
Non EU citizens* will
require a work permit to work in the UK. CPM may be able to organize this for you through our appointed
agents; however there are very strict guidelines
governing the provision of work permits in the UK. Please
call to discuss your individual circumstances.
Citizens of some countries are also allowed to work in the UK under certain training or working holiday provisions. (See Testimonials) Where this applies, you can use CPM as your limited company. If you have not been given a working holiday visa, it is best to seek advice.
Contact us to discuss your specific situation.
